BUT FR FR I LOVED THIS SO MUCH????????? I WAS TOTALLY BLOWN AWAY. IDK WHY I WAITED SO LONG TO READ IT??? OKAY ITS ALMOST 3AM IM GONNA START CROOKED KINGDOM TOMORROW AHHHHHHHHH
i’d never read a heist story before (or at least i don’t think i have) and i was thoroughly impressed! this was a nonstop adventure full of twists and turns until the very end. it was jam packed with amazing action sequences and schemes, i felt like i was right in there with them. the narration was perfect and no character felt overshadowed in my opinion. it was really interesting to see these six completely different characters mesh together and become a family. i loved learning about their backstories and i really appreciate that each one of them had their flaws they struggled with throughout the novel. overall i think this was an amazing read and my only regret is that i didn’t pick it up sooner!
