It’s a Sara Cate book, of course I’m going to read it! This one I actually went into with a little hesitation because cheating is one of my least favorite tropes if not my least favorite, but I give everything a chance. This one was nothing like I expected. I mean it technically includes cheating, but I don’t know if I would classify it as that. Whatever you want to call it, it was such an emotional and very spicy journey for these three characters and I enjoyed every minute of it. I loved how as much as the story was about the dynamic of all of our MCs together, each character’s individual journey and development was just as important. It upped the ante for all of the decisions that were made and what the impact of the outcomes would be. Ah I could probably write pages on this book, but I’ll just say this may be my new favorite Sara Cate book.
Moderate: Homophobia
Minor: Infidelity and Death of parent
