This was definitely a little darker than its predecessor.
Yet there is a balance of light and dark, and it's almost beautiful.
I love Celeana, I love how she's got good and bad, she tricks everyone into thinking she was successful, but she protects the targets instead.
This book is definitely one of my favourites in the series just because I feel like it's a turning point for all of the characters. The book did lack a spark at certain points and Chaol got on my nerves occasionally. The return of Kaltain was something I like since it sets up future books, also I feel so bad for her and she's such a complex character.
