Leather and Lark is a stunning follow-up in this duology, diving deep into Lark’s story, a character I adored in the first book. Her journey is rich with depth and complexity, making her an unforgettable protagonist. I appreciated how the author thoughtfully weaves in anxiety awareness, creating a relatable narrative that resonates deeply.

Lark’s dog is an absolute gem—definitely a highlight for me! And I must give a shoutout to Brynne; she didn’t lead us astray—Lark’s pup is totally fine, which added a comforting touch amidst the chaos.

The chemistry between Lark and her love interest is electric, and I was thrilled by how the spice levels ramp up in the latter scenes, even more than in the first book. However, I felt the pacing in the second half was a bit rushed. While the tension kept me glued to the pages, I wished for a little more time to savor the development.

Overall, if you’re looking for a captivating blend of romance, humor, and anxiety awareness, Leather and Lark delivers in spades. It’s a thrilling ride that kept me entertained from start to finish!
