This one was on my recommendation list for awhile and I realized why I was holding off... such a long time between book 1 and 2... But despite that, this was an enjoyable read with an darker college/academia plot led by a strong heroine. Although it felt a tad predicable at times there was still lots of heated and even humorous moments that had me unsure of what to expect next. Definitely broke my reading rut.. but then put me right back into it... that cliffy. *****5 stars (but just barely).
