Dark Life by Kat Falls

2.0

I tried to read this book once before, more than a year ago. Somewhere around page 100 I stopped because I couldn't really get into the story.

Felt a little bit the same this time and figured out why. This book could be more describing, since the main character, Ty, is living on the bottom of the ocean. I just couldn't picture the submarines, the homes and the trade station and lower decks. I've never really seen those things, so it was and still is, hard to see the whole picture in my mind.
That is the only reason I gave the book 3 stars and not more.

I LOVE the story. I love sealife and this book had a great story. So cool that this book is written from the perspective of a boy, while most books are written from the perspective of a girl.
Unique setting, underwater. And loved the plot twists, really did not see most of them coming.

Would recommend this book, you need a lot of imagination though!
