i didnt expect to love this novel as much as i did but wow!! a really nice break from (most of) the overdone danmei tropes as well as all the angst :') nu tagged this with badass protagonists and they were absolutely CORRECT. also love how multidimensional all of the side characters were, how nothing was ever just black or white when it came to the demonic cultivators vs the "righteous"; how every character felt fleshed out and not just a copy paste of every other danmei side character we've seen before. and of course the humor throughout all of this was so chefs kiss. will definitely be reading this again ♡♡ only downside is its too short!!!!!!
