I cried a few times while reading this book. As someone who has grown up with cats (and a variety of other animals), I know how much more than "just pets" pets are. They are family. They influence and change your life. Some days they make life difficult. Most days they make my life infinitely better. There's nothing like the love between a human and an animal.

This book is less about a special needs cat and more about the life of a cat with an infectiously joyous personality. For that, I definitely recommend reading it.
