This book was definitely over hyped from booktok and Instagram.
Definite triggers in this book! There is assault, sex trafficking, stalking, torture, and murder.
What I will give the book is there are several things going on so it is overall very entertaining. Besides the fact that Z is stalking Addy and won’t stop before she falls for him.
There is also a murder mystery that Addy is trying to solve and a sex trafficking ring that is working on being infiltrated and, hopefully, destroyed.
I really have an issue with the romance bit of all of this, really feeling like Addy has some form of Stockholm syndrome.
The book ends on the biggest cliff hanger though so I instantly got the next book and I will be reading it immediately.
