An Idiot Abroad: The Travel Diaries of Karl Pilkington by Karl Pilkington

3.0

If you've seen the series, then you will understand that the moanings of Karl Pilkington aren't so much a lack of respect or wonder, but just what a slightly practical innocent (or is he just extremely clever?) feels is the face of it all. That being said, there isn't really anything new that the book offers, its just everything in the series, just written down. I do have to warn people, though, that anyone who doesn't understand or enjoy Karl's special brand of oddball humour might get extremely annoyed by the guy moaning when he should be happy that he even got the chance to visit the places at all (That was my initial reaction).
This is a quick, light read that you can, in all honesty, skip if you've seen the series.
