Okay yeah this one got me. I don’t know why but all the getting closer and ‘almost’ scenes were sooo good and very butterfly-inducing. Loved Priya! and all the minor characters too. Pacing was pretty good, I just would’ve liked a few more tense scenes at the beginning.
I also felt like Juliette’s relationship with Priya was less of a rivals things and more of a jealousy/feeling inadequate in comparison which I wasn’t really gelling with but that wasn’t a huge deal. And also I needed a trigger warning for that ankle sprain my god…a couple weeks earlier and I would’ve felt personally attacked.
Juliette had a lot of growth though and I related to a lot of the things she was going through (yes I did tear up at one point), and I loved the summer camp setting! Overall really good and hard to put down!
