Promises in Death by J.D. Robb

4.0

Manages to be both the best and the worst J.D. Robb book I've read, and I've read them all. I really enjoyed the expansion of Eve's character to encompass her "family", including the berieved Morris. The problem I had with it was some of the passages between Eve and Roarke became altogether too unbelievably purple prose. I really enjoyed the book despite that.
