Mother Pucker by Swati M.H.
3.0
3⭐️ Mother Pucker by Swati M. H.
The third installment of the Momcoms series featuring a widowed single mom obsessed with healthy foods and her son’s safety and an alpha hero mmc determined to get her out of her comfort zone.
Shay our fmc works as a physical therapist out of the brownstone where she, three of her friends, their 7 children, and two boyfriends now live. After losing her husband to cancer she became obsessed with keeping her son health and easily gets stressed by dangerous activities such as hockey or high fructose corn syrup and food dyes. Enter Rowan our mmc a professional NHL player and the complete opposite of Shay. He is an alpha cinnamon roll hero type and he shows it the entire book. The chemistry between the characters is off the charts.
Besides the romance I loved Shay’s son Kai and how he was incorporated into the book. He is the sweetest, kindest little boy and every time he came onto the page he just warmed my heart.
Ultimately I ended up giving this story 3⭐️ because I felt like Shay gave up her extreme helicopter parenting style pretty easily that it seemed a little out of character for how she was described in the previous two books. I also felt like the athlete x PT relationship was done kind of in a weird way.
Overall, if you like chaos single mom commune style living with a hockey alpha hero this book is for you.
