This is a fascinating book for all those who love transportation in its many varied forms. I found particularly fascinating the chapters about trains and airplanes. Of particular fascination is his explanation of how the train companies have merged into one or two companies and how the clean air act affected where we get our coal. Also fascinating was his explanation of UPS and how they have evolved into the company they are today, and how they've used technology to revolutionize delivery service.
