I think my expectation for this comic are tainted by having already watched the series, so I'm underwhelmed by it. I feel the series took the (truly great) source material and went to all the places the comic was too scared, or to lazy to go.
Mostly at doing a true analisis of rape, of victim blaming, of quilt.
And the comic book gets very near the issue, but mostly as a "this is why Jessica is fucked up" excuse rather than a stand towards the social, psychological and physical consequences of it.
