I was a little nervous going in as I'm not the biggest Miss Marple fan, but I was so in the mood for my queen Agatha Christie that I decided to give this one a go. And I was happily engaged with this mystery! The plot was interesting without being too complex or dragging, and Miss Marple played a random but non-annoying part in the drama (sorry but my biggest complaint about her is that she's kind of a dragggg to read?!? Might just be me oops.) But fear not, here she totally works!
If I had one complaint it might be the number of characters, but what's a good mystery without a solid number of potential suspects! And the reveal was a really good one, which you could've puzzled out (or at least guessed at) given some of the hints planted throughout but which was still thoroughly surprising and fun.
A super solid read! If you're like me and you're needing to dig deeper into the Christie catalogue, this is a great choice.
