My first five in a long time ! (edit: second five star book this month actually, both these fives are queer romance though. the other was Delilah Green Doesn’t Care! Amazing book as well!) This book has certainly reached my top ten . I had so many fits of giggles while reading this book . The chemistry between Colin and Truly was so enjoyable to read . Could Truly be a little naive or immature ? Yes , but in a weird way , it was endearing ! And Colin helped her learn , which was just so wonderful to read . Colin and Truly's relationship is just . . . Gods I wish there was more to this book . I also loved Lulu and Catie as side characters in this book ! They were very enjoyable to read about and to get to know as people . It was very easy to hate Colin's family , as was probably the point . It was written very well . The subplot with Truly's parents was also very . . . well it was endearing and also frustrating how much Truly wanted to help . I really like how it ended . Realistically did Colin and Truly move a little fast ? It depends on who you are ! Personally ? They went way slower than a ton of other romance books that I've read , and I actually really appreciate that ! Something else I appreciate is the lack of a third act breakup ! I fucking hate those ! Thank you so much to the author for not doing that !
Anyways this is a book I'm sure I'll read again at some point . I loved all the characters so much , and I wish I could live with them around me . It's a book I didn't want to finish quickly , but I just couldn't put it down !
