Witty and hilarious, this was everything one could hope for from a Carrie Fisher audiobook and so much more. It's less a book and more of an intimate conversation, and it reminded me just how much I miss Carrie and her unique sense of humour.
Her approach to discussing her mental illness reminds us that we're not alone - none of us are alone - by welcoming us to laugh with her about it: "I can't forget that stupid fucking hologram speech. That's why I did dope."
Wishful Drinking is honest, heartfelt, and so incredibly funny. Thank you, Carrie, for leaving us with mementos like this one. <3
