Over all I really enjoy this authors narrative style. A significant chunk of this book was difficult to get through for my own reading preferences, but I still plan to read the final book in the trilogy.
I will say I didn't love the later part of the book where the male love interest is essentially expected to put aside his own trauma to aid the main character with hers.
