Obviously, I love the Hobbit and anything Tolkien-related. This was a reread I wanted to notch off my list through an immersive reading method, which is why it took me a whole month to accomplish!
I listened to Andy Serkis' fantastic narration while reading along with my new Folio Society edition of The Hobbit. He nailed every voice and made them all so distinct from one another. Obviously the Riddles in the Dark chapter had me kicking me feet when his Gollum voice got to take the limelight. Extra kudos to his Elvenking voice sounding nigh identical to Lee Pace in the movies. And his Gandalf sounds like if Ian McKellen and Christopher Sabat merged voices, no joke 🤣
