I've read and studied all of Ms. Morrison's fictional works, and this was an eye-opening piece that I am glad I took the leap in reading. I think the understanding of how racialized authors are and how their works are something to be conscious of is beyond important and crucial in sharing this amongst each other. I have learned just how this description of a marginalized population by the white folk that dominate continues to uphold its power through more mediums, like writing. This is a great resource for starting to understanding black feminist literature, and I highly recommend that you do too.
