Wrath and Emilia finally consummate their marriage bond, and readers get answers regarding the twins' true identity. While it was interesting to receive a lot of background information to explain what happened with the first witch, it might have been better to reveal key details gradually in each book, giving readers a chance to absorb and process the information.
Pride's meddling and his reasoning behind testing Emilia were understandable, but it added unnecessary conflict and paranoia.
Vittoria is a great antagonist because readers simultaneously hate and sympathize with her character. Finally, I am thrilled with the happy ending the author gives to Wrath and Emilia—they deserve it after everything they've been through. In this book, readers also meet the first witch, and her actions are revealed. Without giving away too much, be prepared for a surprising twist!
