The Fairy Tale Bride by Scarlet Wilson

3.0

I received this book via Netgalley in exchange of an honest review.

Frankly, everything about this book is just meh. It's a decent read, but not something I would remember what the story is about in the future. Now, I don't even know what to say in this review because it's been some time since I finished this book.

Okay, the story of this book is just average in my opinion. Guy meets woman, they fall in love, that's the main plot. Nothing memorable. However, what I liked about the story is the fact that the female lead owns a bridal store. I also liked where the story is set as it gives a warm and cozy feeling whenever I think of the town.

The characters were likeable and ones that readers are willing to root for. Since this is a short romance novella, I didn't expect much character development. To the tell the truth, I didn't like the main characters that much at first. But as the story went on, it got better.

Although I said that there's nothing memorable about the story, but there're tons of things going on in this short novella. This would work better if it's a full-length novel instead of a 100+ pages novella. As a result, everything just seems underdeveloped and unnecessary, which is one of the problems I have with this book.

All in all, it was okay, not my cup of tea though. If you want something to kill time, then you might wanna read this. If not, then you probably might wanna skip this as there's still a lot of amazing books out there which is worth your time.
