People are born with a mark that leads them to their purpose in life. Unfortunately Ira is covered with them and no one knows why. She is pushed into a world full of dark magic and demons hunting for her.
The magic was different and well developed, the dialogue was so good (and at many times really funny), and the characters were easy to love.
The pacing slowed down quite a bit midway. I did get lost in the world building and the events near the end but I’m chalking that up to Ira learning things along with the reader.
