All Folked Up
by Penny Reid
I think I liked this out of loyalty for the characters and town… it was nice to see and hear more of Isaac’s story but with his backstory of being undercover the fact that he was still just as pure as Jenn was felt like a stretch… also, the man went from so many judgmental hang ups to like all in in basically a second. I appreciate that his hang ups from his dad didn’t take front and center in the book but it was still interesting to see how quickly he got over them… which maybe was the least believable part of the whole story.
But I did like the somewhat “innocence” of their love story… it kind of reminded me of the body stand in couple from love actually… two people meeting in a very sexual setting but being just very sweet and innocent
