I really enjoyed Vanessa & Roland’s story, and as a big superhero fan, this book checked all the boxes!
The story was fun and had enough twist & turns that I was invested in way more than just the romance.
At times, I wanted to punch Roland in the face but I know that was intentionally done. 😅 I struggled a bit w/ theabuse storyline especially w/ how Roland would go hot & cold on her so quickly in the beginning, but it did add an element to their relationship once they built that trust and communicated with each other.
All in all, this was a very enjoyable read & I’m excited to read more from this author! :)
