Sense and Sensibility
by Jane Austen
i think conceptually elinor and marianne being the embodiments of sense and sensibility to explore opposing approaches to love was very clever but as a novel, i had a few qualms
- insanely slow pace in volume one - granted it did pick up in pace for volume two but my goodness it was slow
- i genuinely think elinor deserved better than edward,,, and vice versa with colonel brandon,,,
that being said, i think austen nails the older sister/younger sister dynamic so im giving this one a 3.5 !
