This is one of my favorite books of all time, and I never thought that I'd love time travel the way that I do here. Henri and Sarah are such a beautiful couple, the way they understand each other and work past the differences of being from different time periods is so interesting. The drama of time travel isn't truly explored in this book, but the beginning of their relationship more than make up for it.
I know that this is book #3 in the series, and that heightens all the risk of #1 and #2, but on re-read I love reading #3 and #4 first, Henri and Sarah's story, and then Nick and Quinn's. It makes it so hard to read Quinn's story because you know who the "villain" is.
Elizabeth O'Roark still hasn't finished this series, and honestly I think parts of it can remain open ended, but I need at least one book on the twins.
