This is a powerfully packed novel in such short amount of pages..
All i can say is brilliant!
I'm amazed how author brilliantly about much needed discussion through a gripping storyline.
She not only talks about men's lack of or ignorance about various things when it comes to sex or about how a women's body works or even about how stereotypical and misogynistic statements like women are "meant to bear it".
She also talks about--- How it boils down to what's expected of a women and how she should behave or how she should be as women; Everything is "Pre-determined" by not just society but the mother's themselves who push for it.
It also talks about motherhood, about being a parent and about a daughter understanding her own mother and wondering why did she fail all those years to really understand what she went through.
It's beautiful read! Probably my favorite short story!
