The Tyrant's Tomb by Rick Riordan

4.0

2020 review:

i ended up really liking this one, i think it really had a lot of growth and depth, and touched on some themes like climate change that we don't often see explored in these books. this gave me faith that if rick riordan ever decides to write something that has nothing to do with gods and myths, he would still come up with something interesting and magical, and i would definitely pick it up. (adult rick riordan fantasy book?? yes please?? he could go under r r riordan, because his middle name is russell, and he would fit right in with giants of the genre like j.r.r. tolkien and g.r.r. martin.)
