You really can't go wrong with a Lisa Jewell thriller. The Night She Disappeared is right up there!
Thank you to Netgalley and Simon & Schuster Canada for my eARC for review!
Devoted teen parents Tallulah and Zach go missing after an evening at a pub. Tallulah's mother Kim takes over care of their son Noah, working through her despair to keep the search for them active.
Alternating chapters bring us into Sophie's story, a thriller author and newcomer to the area a year after the disappearances, and witness to a new set of clues.
As with other Lisa Jewell books, seemingly "normal" individuals and families are not as they appear on the surface.
The pacing of this one starts out strong and develops slowly, then races toward resolution. Some nice character development and reveals make this another worthwhile thriller and keep Lisa Jewell as an auto-read author for me. Recommended!
 Released on Sept. 7.
