Read for freshman honors English class and it was so boring. English teachers just don't know how to pick interesting books. Jeez, we could've read Macbeth or even Romeo and Juliet and they would have everyone more engaged. The language was egregious, the characters were super annoying (side-eye at Desdemona and Othello), and anyone with a brain would've seen past Iago's stupidity from the first act. Bad play. Bad book. Even worse movie. Emilia was a total slay though, and she did not stand for that bullshit misogynist crap everyone was trying to slip by. Love her.
