Roses, in the Mouth of a Lion by Bushra Rehman

4.0

Not only do we take a walk in a Muslim girl's shoes as she grows up, we also take a hop back in time to the 1980s.  This is a coming of age story that explores relationships with family and family.  It is also a journey of self discovery and was a good pick for Pride Month.
