Seemingly autobiographic, the main person tells the story of the last days of his mother's life and uses that to tell major and minor parts of her life story, and a slight bit about his relationship to his mother. I liked many of the sentences (the man can write!) but perhaps there could have been a bit more about that relationship or the family.
