Tied in Knots by Sundari Venkatraman
4.0

Tied in knots is a work of fiction in the royal romance and interpersonal drama sub-genre, and is penned down by author Sundari Venkatraman.
Our protagonist Princess Chitrangada is an outspoken young girl who ran away from her hotel far from her bodyguards in Zurich. He met with Prince Rajvardhan on her way, and take his help to get a hotel room as she have no passport with her. There is something that is burning between these two, but they didn’t confess to each other. On the other side of the world, his father Raja Bikram Vasudeva fixed her marriage with a king who is twice her age. With whom princess tied a knot?
The author has crafted a vibrant and engrossing work of fiction with lots of romantic thrills, humor, and emotional moments to offer its readers. One of the things which I found most impressive was the attention to detail in the social grace and decorum of the period, which gave the story a gorgeous ambiance that felt like you were transported to the royal era. I love the Prince Rajvardhan character full of humor and wittiness.
Overall, this is a good and light read with the theme of patriarchal society in between romance and drama.
