Etiquette & Espionage by Gail Carriger
4.0

When Sophronia is shipped off to "finishing school," she's surprised to find that along with learning how to properly flutter a fan, this particular school also secretly teaches the art of assassination and espionage. While her fan-fluttering may be mediocre, her quick wits and tree-climbing skills come in extremely handy.

The book is set in Victorian England with distinct gas-lamp/steampunk aspects - "Madame Geraldine's Finishing school for Young Ladies of Fine Quality" is a floating city of zeppelins that drifts over the moors of the north--all the more difficult for rival schools and spies to infiltrate. Vampires and werewolves have been integrated into polite society, and mad inventors abound. Lots of fun.

Definitely going to continue this trilogy - it's clever, well-written, and scattered with touches of humor that had me laughing out loud.
