This has been on my TBR forever, and I'm so glad I finally read it and it lived up to my years of expectations! I had a few small sticking points,
like I refuse to believe this conversion therapy camp doesn't call the cops when four kids steal a truck then get into an accident where the car turns over, and I never ended up liking how Char's character was portrayed,
but I liked Raya's perspective and the sometimes beautiful language/moralizing.
