I saw a lot of mixed reviews for this book, but I enjoyed it. It does have a cliffhanger, so be warned about that. I didn't like the cliffhanger and some stuff that didn't get resolved in this book, but the story that was told was good. I liked the chemistry between the two main characters, and fell in love with two side characters, Claire and Gerard.
I will continue the series, as I really need to see how the plot resolves itself, but wish more of it was taken care of in this book. I feel like this book just set up all the issues with no resolution at all.
If you want a real slow burn, and don't mind reading more in the series, then you may like it. I'm not going to be jumping to recommend it, but I would if someone asked for my opinion on it.
