'You'll want to first remind yourself that linear time doesn't exist in the true-self world. We have it here on earth because the ego wants to measure and compare its material accomplishments. Since the ego created time, it is a product of an unreal source. Therefore, time is an unreal illusion since only God can create the real and eternal.

We may not be able to slow time down or speed it up, but we can change what we and everyone else remembers within time.'

I interpreted this as Ego = Man, and God = Mother Nature, and this quote kinda stuck with me more for it
