listened to this as an audiobook and thought it was both beautifully written and extremely well-narrated by the author. I had trouble getting into the first half of the book, especially about Jordan's early life, but was really engaged during the second half, especially when the author began discussing the history of eugenics. I've never read a book that bridged a biography about a historical figure to the author's own life, and felt it was really well done in this book.
