At Dusk by Hwang Sok-yong

4.0

This is a meditation on success and humble beginnings. The author seems to be making a commentary that succeeding does not necessarily pave the way to happiness. It seems to be inversely proportional. It also talks about class, and obvious divide that exists. Similar themes are explored in the movie Parasite. I gave this one a 3.8/5.
