Update:
I have since read about the anti-semitism, racism, fatphobia, etc. in this series as well as Jay Kristoff's abysmal behavior in response to being called out on this. This is disgusting and deplorable and I can not recommend this book

I enjoyed this book. I can’t really decide if I’d rate this a 3.5 or a 4. Do with that what you will.
