Review “The Garthsea Quartet”

I have started reading this book. It is written by a French auteur, Ursula le Guin. She has written way more books with mostly positive reviews. That was the reason why I at first i was really excited about this book, but that would change when I started reading.

Keep in mind!
I haven’t finished reading the book, but this is what have read so far.

Resume
It starts with Ged, he is a really talented wizard that wants to become a mage. For this he gets training. The only problem is that Ged is really clumsy cause he fucks things up quite a lot.
This is for him a big problem and I think the rest of the book is going to be him overcoming his own problems.

What I think about it
The title in my opinion is really promising, and here is my result: This book is fine, its not definitely not the best I read. In the beginning I found it so extremely hard to follow the story cause for me it was really vague what exactly happened. Another negative is that its all about magic and this is something I really don’t like.

Conclusion
Read this book if you like magic and that kind of stuff. Otherwise it is for you probably not worth it.
