nadiner 's review for:
The Summer Girl
by Elle Kennedy
Soooo good
This book has just the right amount of everything... It's in the goldilocks zone.
Sweet, funny(LL cool J and keanu), poignant, hits the right emotional highs and lows, dramatics, and a little bit spicy.
Looking for a summer fling, ending up friend zoned and turning into wingman, only to have a summer fling where a real friendship develops and evolves to love.
A nice thing Elle Kennedy did was when an issue between the main characters occurred, they communicated like real people do. They supported and encouraged each other, like people who actually care about each other. And it is just occurring to me now that these characters were written as having actual cop on and common sense. Well done Ms Kennedy
I have not read the other two in the series, I will, but this can definitely be read as a standalone.
