emotional funny lighthearted medium-paced

This one sounded fun and quirky, and I picked it up randomly. However, there were some moments where the book lost its way. I got tired of the book relying so heavily on the miscommunication trope. I wanted more between them instead of just coming clean. The book also relied heavily on insta-love, but it played well in this one because it was supposed to be just for one weekend. Still, it wasn't until she learned she was pregnant that they were forced to reconnect. It was a lot of fun seeing Briggs go from being this bachelor to father mode and, along with his teammates, helping him figure out everything. This is technically the second book in the series, and even though I didn't read the first one, I could have done better. There are a few snippets tied back to that first book.
