I normally do not read fantasy books but this one gripped my mind. With every page and every place Esmer went it felt like I was there with her. The author put such amazing detail into the worlds and characters it felt like a movie playing in my mind. Esmer grew stronger as a character and you could feel her emotions just about as she learned what was happening in her world and the dream realm. The Shadow Bringer was such a marvelous character and to see how things turned out was wonderful. I cannot wait for the second book!
