The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue
by V.E. Schwab
My five stars are reserved for books that are “wow, this is going on my ‘favorite of all time’ shelf. Everyone should read this book.” Deeply moving in a way that sneaks up on you, philosophical without being cliche, and makes you think without being academic. Please read (listen) this so I can talk about it with someone.
This was also my first audio book, and it was a wonderful book in that format, great descriptive details, and moved slowly enough that if my attention drifted I was not totally lost. Because the pace was pretty relaxed, I am not sure if I would have loved it as much as a physical book. Who knows!
