Really enjoyed this book. Beautiful writing, strong characters, and doesn't shy away from where the story leads. Loved the interplay of the Vietnamese language and its role in the communication between characters. Really liked that for such a dark book, things ended nicely (though I'm glad it wasn't too neat and unrealistic).
