first off i’m OBSESSED with the cover. they say don’t judge a book by it’s cover but damn it’s hard not to with this one.
i truly went through it with the FMC- every single emotion was felt, and following along with the twist and turns of the story was a riiiiide.
i love the found family and each of the characters, not even truly sure i could pick a favourite out of the bunch (but actually bitty and beans hehe) the dynamic is fun to follow along with the main quest! each of their personalities is a great recipe for the group.
so much happened but all were relevant to furthering the plot along. the worldbuilding and food descriptions were great as well, made me hungry a fair few times just reading about mika’s meals!
my biggest critique is the ending… because now i have to wait patiently for the sequel.
