Wow, two five star reads in a row. At first, I wasn’t entirely sure how I felt about this book in the beginning. 136 pages in and I was still wondering what the hype surrounding the book was. Then, I fell in love with Elizabeth Zott. Truthfully, her personality and demeanor of speaking remind me of a female Sheldon Cooper from Big Bang Theory.

She was a woman so sure of who she was, and I don’t know about you, but at 27 I still struggle with trying to find who I am sometimes. There are a lot of twists and turns throughout the book, while none of them are earth shattering, they all reflect the real ups, downs, twists, and turns life takes you on. Sprinkled throughout her chemistry lessons and cooking are life lessons that even I found to be important and helpful for myself. I encourage others to read this book.
